Comedy Central approved a new, 30m weekly sketch show showcasing comedian Nick Swardson and his unique comedic outlook. The network signed on for six episodes which will include digital shorts, man-on-the-street segments and animation inspired by the popular online character “Gay Robot.” Production will begin in November with a series debut planned for 2010. Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison Productions and Sony Pictures Television will produce with Swardson and Tom Gianas executive producing.
