Before AMC premieres its newest original drama series, The Walking Dead on Halloween night at 10p in the US, the network and Fox International Channels (FIC) are teaming on a zombie invasion stunt happening in major cities worldwide all this week. Beginning at dawn today in Taipei and Hong Kong and moving around the world to culminate at the show’s Los Angeles premiere, morning commuters in each invasion city might see or run into hundreds of zombies over a 24-hour period. Zombies will congregate at iconic landmarks in each city such as the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City, the Lincoln Monument in Washington, D.C. to Big Ben in London and the Acropolis in Athens. The 26 global zombie outbreaks will also occur in Istanbul, Madrid, Munich, Rome, Sao Paolo, Buenos Aires as well as Boston, Chicago and San Francisco in the US among other cities.
