This book has changed my life. It’s a beautiful story—poignant, funny, sad, charming, devastating, wonderful, joyous, everything. The basic premise is that Junior Thibodeau is visited by an omniscient presence in utero (and which remains with him throughout his life), that tells him that the world will end when he is 36 years old. Ron Currie Jr. does an amazing job of immersing you into Junior’s life, and of course, is a reminder to all of us that our time on this planet will end eventually and how we choose to spend it is monumentally important. Especially the little things.
